Yes. The Unpaid Internship is free — a 3-month programme with real tasks on intermediate-level projects, a weekly team review and a verifiable certificate. The Mentored Internship (₹749 one-time) is optional: it adds job & internship postings, a signed Letter of Recommendation (LOR), advanced projects, 1:1 mentoring, a code review on every submission, skill notes and more. The Paid Internship includes all of that for free, plus a stipend.

College students in any year, recent graduates and self-taught developers. You should know the basics of your chosen track; the entrance exam checks that. The internship is remote and runs for 3 months.

Applications are open all year — there are no batches. Our team reviews every application and may send you an onboarding guide or schedule a short intro call. Once you are approved your exam is unlocked, and you must start it within 72 hours — if you don't, your application is disqualified.

The exam has 50 questions, each with its own 15–25-second timer, and your first attempt is free. A score of 75% or above unlocks the Paid Internship with a stipend. Whatever you score, the Unpaid Internship is open to you. On the result page the Mentored Internship is offered at 50% and above; below 50% your options there are the Unpaid Internship or a retake, both free.

No. The exam only opens on a laptop or desktop computer — phones and tablets, including iPads, are blocked. It runs in fullscreen for 45 minutes, and switching tabs or leaving fullscreen counts as a violation, so use a computer with a stable internet connection. You'll also need a working webcam, and to share your entire screen for the whole exam.

Nothing, if you wait — your second attempt is free 15 days after your first, and the wait before any later attempt is shown on your result page. If you'd rather not wait, a flat ₹99 lets you take it straight away. The fee never increases.

Yes. Once you're on the Unpaid Internship, you can upgrade to the Mentored Internship from your dashboard at any time, whatever your exam score. It's the same one-time fee (₹749 one-time). When you upgrade, you choose whether to keep your current end date or start a fresh 3 months from that day.

Yes, on the Paid Internship, which is unlocked by scoring 75% or above: ₹500 – ₹3,000 per approved project. The Unpaid Internship and Mentored Internship do not include a stipend.

When a template or project you built sells on the marketplace, you receive a share of the sale — 70% on the Paid Internship and 60% on the Mentored Internship. The Unpaid Internship has no revenue share; upgrading to the Mentored Internship adds it. Payouts are processed by our team by hand, and depend on actual sales.

The Unpaid Internship gives you intermediate-level projects, a weekly review of your work and a certificate that verifies as a completion badge; your published work goes out under the MetaSkillGroup name. The Mentored Internship adds job & internship postings, a signed Letter of Recommendation (LOR), a full verified work profile, a LinkedIn post and written recommendation, 1:1 mentoring, advanced, full-scale projects (blogs included), a review and detailed code review of every submission as you send it, your name on your published work, skill notes, free access to all marketplace source code while you intern, and a 60% revenue share.

A signed letter from MetaSkillGroup about your own work on the program — what you built, the technologies you used and how you worked. Mentored Internship and Paid Internship interns get it as a PDF with their certificate when they complete the program, ready to add to job, placement and higher-studies applications.

Every intern who completes the program on the Mentored Internship or Paid Internship gets one. On the Unpaid Internship, the certificate is issued when the average rating our review team gives your task work is 3.0 out of 5 or above — so do every task honestly and carefully. Every certificate has a QR code that anyone can verify.

Yes, on the Mentored Internship and Paid Internship: skill notes — PDF and handwritten — that you read inside your dashboard. They are for reading only and can't be downloaded or copied.

No. The Mentored Internship and Paid Internship include mentorship — a 1:1 session every week, code review and direct support — not a taught course with scheduled lectures.

No. You leave with production experience and a certificate anyone can verify online. Mentored Internship and Paid Internship interns get the job & internship postings we come across — a posting is not a promise of a job. MetaSkillGroup does not guarantee any job or placement.

Not for internship fees. The Mentored Internship fee — whether paid on the result page or as an upgrade from your dashboard — and the retake fee are non-refundable once paid, whatever the reason. Both are optional: the Unpaid Internship costs nothing, and a retake is free if you wait it out. Refunds apply only to marketplace purchases.
